PROBLEM STATEMENT
In redesigning FH Group's online presence, my goal as a UI/UX expert is to create a visually appealing and flexible Shopify website. The main focus is on improving the user experience by introducing an easy-to-use navigation system. This system is carefully crafted to meet users' specific needs, simplifying the process of finding custom car seat covers for their unique make and model. The strategic approach goes beyond just scalability – it demonstrates a deep understanding of UI/UX intricacies. The endgame is a website that not only looks good but also functions seamlessly, catering to the distinct preferences of users in search of personalized automotive accessories.
APPROACH
In developing the website, the emphasis is on understanding user preferences through research and simplifying the search for custom car seat covers based on car make and model. The design prioritizes a visually appealing and responsive interface, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. Persona testing is integrated to cater to diverse user needs. Through low and high fidelity mockups, the goal is to create a user-friendly website that guides users efficiently to discover their desired car seat covers, emphasizing both aesthetics and functionality.
STYLE BOARDS
As part of the redesign, the client needed guidance on future font choices. The discussions, carried out through style board iterations, played a crucial role in shaping the brand's visual identity for digital platforms and printed materials.
TYPE REFRESH
In our search for a modern font update, we carefully considered different options to find the best match for FH Group's evolving brand. Our thorough process led us to choose 'Inter,' a font that gracefully combines modern style with readability on both digital and print platforms. This choice reflects our dedication to a cohesive and forward-thinking brand identity.
SHOP THE LOOK
The hover list navigation is a dynamic feature designed to enhance user interaction on the website. When users hover over the custom seat cover list, a dropdown list instantly appears, displaying all available car makes and models. This on-demand visibility provides users with a quick and comprehensive overview of the various options without the need for additional clicks. It streamlines the navigation process, allowing users to efficiently explore and select their desired car make and model directly from the hover list, contributing to a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.

SYSTEM BEYOND THE PROJECT
Feeling frustrated with the time and budget allocated for such a project, we brainstormed ideas that could free up some time in future projects. We identified the key areas that could be re-applied with future projects in hope to streamline those early steps in setting up styles and also to align design and developer teams in a fast paced environment.
